Considered by the team as the "heart" of the Ghostbusters,
Dr. Ray Stantz is also the chief engineer and mechanic,
responsible for the development and maintenance of the
Ghostbusters equipment.Along with fellow colleague, Dr. Egon Spengler,
Dr. Stantz is responsible for the pioneering work
which makes ghost containment possible.However, unlike Dr. Spengler, Dr. Stantz's pursuits do not
lie solely in theoretical studies. His main area of interest
lies in experimentation and practical application of their
theory.
